Customs Regulations
To expedite customs clearance, US Customs Form 3299 and supplemental should be completed and forwarded to Eagle Van Lines at least two weeks prior to vessel arriving.

Please note:
- The shipper must be in the US before goods can clear.
- Please provide destination contact address and phone numbers for the shipper.
- For air freight shipments, you must complete US Customs Form 3299 and attach the supplemental and inventory to the airway bill.
- Eagle Van Lines will forward documents to Customs and will request electronic clearance.
- Eagle Van Lines will also send a letter to the consignee and advise of changes to arrival and obtain delivery details at destination. We will check if copies provide a photo page and all stamped pages of passport.
- Effects will be picked up from the port and unloaded into Eagle Van Lines bonded warehouse.
- Effects collected from the port are cleared in approximately 10-12 working days.
- Motor vehicles must conform to US environmental and safety regulations. Please contact our office prior to shipment to ensure that all current requirements are met.
- You must pay Customs duty, GST and Luxury Car Tax (LCT) where applicable and obtain a customs clearance at the port of entry.
- Please notify our agent if the delivery is above the first floor and has a difficult access. Eagle Van Lines will unpack cartons at ground level and unwrap all furniture. All debris will be removed at customers’ convenience (one collection only).
